i heart birthdays!

How superly fantastic to be made to feel so special and loved by so many people.
I had the most wonderful weekend which has stretched on and on - from a girl in my tutor group giving me cupcakes on friday to receiving a present from Amy in the post today (tuesday) and everything in between - going out on friday, shopping on saturday, seeing family & opening presents and cards all day on sunday, having a girly SATC night in on monday with wine and a beautiful new hand bag - and it's still not ending - Tim has got me tickets to the ballet in Nov, very exciting!

23 years of age

As I approach the grand old age of 23 I can't help but reflect and wonder; I hope that I'm achieving some worth while things - I think teaching should help me do this and maybe even realise my tentative dream of moving abroad...
I think my only resolutions surrounding my 'new' age this year are to do with my chosen profession - I am so desperate, not only to pass the teaching degree, but to be a positive, caring, helpful teacher - and I also would love to find a lovely primary school in Portsmouth!
also, of course, be a good friend, girl friend, sister and daughter...
